We are happy to host the fourth of six painting art exhibitions at Madame Pogany where we invite Andy Ciocan as our guest artists, represented by MKP / Art on Site and Atelierul de Rame.
Andy Ciocan is a self-made artist and painter from Sibiu a city he admires, loves and passionately talks about. He does not remember when he began to draw, perhaps, he always said, it was as if he was born with the drawing "in the blood". His paintings are powerful expressions of characters and entities using a sort of contemporary Pointillism. Andy works with a variety of techniques, charcoal, pencil, watercolour, pastel, acrylic and oil. He uses themes which make up a wider palette, from portraits to landscapes, realism to abstract.
