TEDxCambridgeSchoolofBucharest is honoured to present to you the 5th TEDx edition: "TEDxCambridgeSchoolofBucharest Belonging". The theme of “Belonging†highlights the spirit of being part of a community or culture. Our hope is to pay tribute to all those whose actions and ideas transcend the geographic frontiers of the country and make us feel proud of who we are by carrying with them elements of their native cultures and sharing them with the world.
TED is a nonprofit organisation devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or fewer) delivered by today's leading thinkers and doers. Many of these talks are given at TED's annual conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, and made available, free, on TED.com.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. These local, self-organised events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organised TED event.
